Library will host pair of programs

The public is invited to two free programs at the Wayne County Public Library this weekend in conjunction with Wayne County Reads.
Kelly Swanson, a High Point-based humorist, will be the guest at both events, which will be held in the auditorium.
On Friday at 7 p.m., she will speak about southern relatives in a presentated entitled, "Mamma and the Prom, Daddy's Talking Fish...and Other Reasons I Need Therapy."
Saturday morning, her topic will be, "You Can't Put Lipstick on a Chicken," is primarily for children, but adults are also welcome. It will take place at 10 a.m. Tickets are required for this program and are available in the children's department.
