Investigations
Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:
*Someone stole $7,400 in merchandise from Down East Travel Center, 2600 U.S. 117 South.
*James Craig Sellers reported someone broke into his home in the 200 block of Charlie Braswell Road and stole two handguns, a portable DVD player, camera, all valued at $1,375. Damage was set at $700.
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*The manager at Logan's Roadhouse on Sunburst Drive said several men and woman got into an altercation and during the confusion they left without paying for their $122.61 food and drink tab. Ms. Wessels also reported one of the men pushed her several times during the clash.
