The Wayne County Public Library has several things planned for February in observance of Black History Month.
On Feb. 13, the library will host Zora's Stories, a family story night beginning at 6:30 p.m. There will be stories for all ages.
On Feb. 22, Bright Star Theatre will present Heroes of the Underground Railroad. Come for dinner and a show beginning at 6 p.m. Because the seating will be limited, free tickets are available at the library. All of the library's events are free to the public.
Feb. 23 is the deadline for children and teenagers to enter their artwork in the Black History Multi-media Art Contest. Library officials say all mediums accepted.
On Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. the library will host a reception and announcement of the art contest winners.
