Investigations
The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating these incidents:
*Donald Vincent White reported Saturday that his 1983 Ford pickup truck was stolen between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday night as he and his son visited a friend on Slocumb Street. The truck is valued at $1,000. There are no suspects.
*On Friday, Pam Barwick at Carolina Nephrology on Wayne Memorial Drive reported that 40 Nandina plants, valued at $600, were stolen and that 40 feet of a sprinkler system, valued at $450, was damaged on Jan. 29. There are no suspects.
*Officers are investigating an assault with a handgun by an unknown suspect on Christopher Lamar Miller, Marcus Lamont Barbour and Robert A. Coley while they were on the street of the 400 block of North James Street about 4:30 a.m., Saturday. They were taken to Wayne Memorial for treatment. None of them were admitted.
The following incidents are being investigated by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office:
*Calous Earl Hobbs reported Saturday that his work van, a blue and white, former Johnston Ambulance Services van was stolen sometime Friday night from in front of his residence. The van is valued at $2,500. There are no suspects.
*Debra Higgins of Bryan Boulevard reported Friday that she had found evidence of child pornography being viewed on a computer by a man she had been renting a room in her house to. She also found pornography in his room and evidence that he had been charging pornographic movies to her cable bill. The suspect has since moved out. No arrests have been made.

*Marcus Gerald Johnson Jr., 20, Creech Street, breaking and entering, six to eight months suspended, 36 months probation, $585.50 fine and court costs, $1,000 restitution.
*Delete LaCharles Vann, 30, Nelson Street, Mount Olive, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and deliver, six to eight months to serve, credit for time served.
*Appie O'neal Chapman, 55, Chestnut Street, Fremont, 15 to 18 months suspended, 36 months probation, $1,065.50 court costs.
*Kentrell E. Alston, 18, South Chestnut Street, Fremont, possession of cocaine, assault inflicting serious bodily injury, 15 to 18 months suspended, 36 months probation, $1,065 fine and court costs.
*Retha Monique Toomer, 19, Courtyard Circle, shoplifting, 15 days suspended, 12 months probation, $332 fine and court costs.
*Joshua O. Robinson, 19, King Drive, shoplifting, 15 days suspended, 12 months probation, $332 fine and court costs.
*Nathanial Britt, 20, Beaver Drive, Dudley, possession of drug paraphernalia, 30 days suspended, 12 months probation, $530.50 fine and court costs.
*Brian Christopher Casey, 25, Woodview Drive, forgery, four to five months to serve, 12 months probation, $250 fine, plus court costs, $80 restitution.
*Lavonda Mantrell Kenon, 30, Old Grantham Road, Mount Olive, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, 14 to 15 months to serve.
*Jamie Marks Champion, 26, Nahunta Road, Pikeville, failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of address change, 30 days suspended, 12 months probation, $432.50 fine and court costs.

District Court

*Lisa Michelle Fennell, 45, North Daisy Street, assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree trespassing, dismissed.
*Donald Flowers, 58, Hopkins Street, littering, dismissed; possession of an open container of alcohol/consuming alcohol in passenger seat, $135 fine and court costs.
*Deandre Langston, 16, North Drive, larceny, prayer for judgment, $110 court costs.
*Jasmine H. McLamb, 17, Koonce Drive, resisting an officer, 45 days suspended, 12 months probation, $135 fine and court costs.
