Flags back to full staff Thursday

Wayne County residents, like others around the country, should raise their U.S. flags to full staff on Thursday following the end of the national period of mourning for former president Gerald Ford.
President Bush ordered all U.S. flags to be flown at half staff for 30 days from the day of Ford's death on Dec. 26, as is the national custom.
