Water service to be interrupted

The city of Goldsboro will interrupt water service for some residents from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesday. The 1800 and 1900 blocks of Friendly Road, the 800 and 900 blocks of Guilford Street and the 1800 block of Salem Church Road will be affected.
The interruption is to replace water valves.
If it rains on Tuesday, the replacements will take place on Wednesday.
