Clarification

An item in the Jan. 5 Public Record said Jerry L. Jackson, 47, of Eastern Place, had been charged by Goldsboro police with larceny and placed under $400 bond. The charge was dismissed by authorities after it was discovered that Jackson's brother had used his name when arrested. Police charged Duncan Eric Jackson, 49, of Southern Plaza Drive, Dudley, with larceny and giving false information to an officer. Bond was set at $900.
