Investigations
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*Robert L. Swinson Jr. reported someone broke into a vacant home he owned in the 600 block of East Spruce Street and set it on fire. The Goldsboro Fire Department is investigating the incident that occurred about 1:30 a.m. Jan. 7. A damage estimate was not given.
*Adin Ellison reported a burglar entered her home in the 400 block of North Leslie Street Jan. 7 and assaulted her.
*June Donald Moore reported Jan. 7 someone attempted to break into his home in the 300 block of Patetown Road by breaking out the door knob.
*Andrew Manley Leavie reported Jan. 7 someone he knew cut him in the face during an argument over a card game at a home in the 1100 block of Crawford. Leavie received a cut over his left eye. He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital. His status was unavailable.
