Voters can cast ballots for young singer until Friday noon

Madeline Edwards performed this morning on CBS News' The Early Show.
The 11-year-old singer was competing in the second round of the show's "Living Room ... Live! Kids Edition" talent search.
The videotaped performance of her singing was to have been broadcast Tuesday but was delayed a day by CBS producers.
Winners in the competition are determined by online voting. Voters can cast as many ballots as they want by visiting www.cbsnews.com, clicking on The Morning Show and then on "Living Room ... Live! Kids Edition."
Madeline's father, Michael, said today that voters can cast ballots until Friday at noon. The winner will be announced Monday.
Madeline, a student at Eastern Wayne Middle School, sang "O Mio Babbino Caro," from an opera by Puccini. She has said she wants to become an opera singer and won the first round of the competiton easily.
Today, she went up against two competitors who also won in their first rounds: a teen rock band from Scotia, N.Y., Stuck on Stupid, and Anthony Gargiula, a seven-year-old singer from Glenmont, N.Y.
Another Wayne County girl will participate in the national TV competition next week.
Samantha Casey, 10, a fifth-grader at St. Mary School, will play the fiddle during a Monday first-round competition.
