In the lead jet, 4th Fighter Wing Commander Col. Steve Kwast takes off from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base this afternoon. Twenty F-15E Strike Eagles followed the commander to Grand Rapids, Mich., to participate in a 21-ship flyover at former President Gerald Ford’s burial.
