Investigations
Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:
*Milton Barow, 19, of Blueridge Drive, Dudley, was injured when he was allegedly shot in the hand with a shotgun about 10:30 a.m. New Year's Day. Wayne County sheriff's officials said Barow was shot by his brother, however, no arrests were immediately filed.
*James Anthony Wynn, 33, of South Running Deer Circle, Dudley, was assaulted by two men when he made a delivery about 9:30 a.m. New Year's Day. Wynn, a Pizza Inn deliveryman, arrived at a home in the 200 block of Forest Knolls Road to deliver an order of cheese sticks and a large pepperoni pizza. Two unknown assailants at the home robbed him with an unknown weapon, stole the food, his jacket, black Timberland boots and several checks and cash totaling $150, that belonged to the business. Authorities said Wynn was not hurt.
