Teenage driver killed in wreck

DUDLEY -- A 16-year-old driver was killed Sunday morning on Sleepy Creek Road when his pickup ran off the highway and struck a tree.
Joshua Allen McIntosh of 629 Eagles Nest Road died at about 10:15 a.m., according to investigators with the state Highway Patrol.
Troopers said McIntosh was alone and headed east toward Arrington Bridge Road when his Chevy S-10 pickup ran off the right side of the highway about five miles east of Dudley. The truck struck several trees before coming to rest in the woods about 50 feet off the roadway.
Investigators said McIntosh was wearing a seat belt.
