Principals undergo leadership training

Three Wayne County Public Schools' high school principals recently graduated from the Leadership Program for Experienced Principals, offered by the Principals' Executive Program of the University of North Carolina.
Eddie Radford of Charles B. Aycock, Gene Byrd of Eastern Wayne and Steve Clingan of Spring Creek were among 54 principals selected statewide to participate in the program.
They completed nearly 100 hours of classroom instruction, with concentration in teacher effectiveness, instructional improvement, finance, teacher support, data analysis, diversity, integrity, and vision.
