Accident
A Goldsboro woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident early Friday when she lost control of her vehicle on Oak Forest Road.
Sahara Menice Davis, 23, of Alpha Court, was traveling east on Oak Forest Road when she ran off the road near Gateway Drive at about 1:23 a.m. fell into a ditch and landed in an open field.
Ms. Davis was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment. Her injuries did not appear to be life threatening, officials said.
Ms. Davis was cited for careless and reckless driving, failure to wear seat belt and failure to wear corrective lenses, according to a Goldsboro Police report.
