Each Wednesday before Christmas, a Community Advent Service will be offered at noon. This year, First Baptist Church, 125 S. John St., will host all the services with a different preacher delivering the message at each one. These services have been developed by the ministers' group CLIFF and will have a half-hour worship service followed by lunch. The public is invited to attend.
