A flu clinic will be held Friday at the Wayne County Health Department from 8 a.m. until noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.
No appointment is necessary, but there will be an alphabetical system used to ensure faster processing, officials said.
Individuals whose last names begin with the letters A-L are asked to come in the morning, and those whose last names begin with the letters M-Z should be there in the afternoon.
There will be a $20 charge for the flu vaccine for those who do not have Medicaid, Medicare, or the state health care plan. Individuals should bring a health care coverage card with them.
To save time, people with access to the Internet may go to www.waynegov.com/health.
Patients may bring the completed form on the day of the clinic.
People with special needs who might be non-ambulatory will be able to remain in their vehicles to receive the flu vaccine. A friend or family member will first need to register non-ambulatory individuals inside the building.
Also, the Health Department will not be providing any other immunizations that day other than the flu shot.
