The Partnership for Children of Wayne County will sponsor a free wildlife exhibit for pre-school children next month.
Wildlife Encounters will display reptiles from around the world at the "Wild About Reptiles" show scheduled for Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. It will be held in the St. Mary School auditorium.
The presentation is open to parents, young children and child care facilities and will feature snakes, lizards, monitors, alligators, crocodiles and other reptiles.
Wildlife Encounter works with "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" and currently is on Animal Planet promoting awareness and enthusiasm for wildlife.
The program is one in a series of assembly programs funded by a Multicultural Arts for Tots grant from Target Stores' community giving program.
Seating will be on the floor and the audience is encouraged to bring a blanket or towel. Pre-registration is required due to limited space.
For more information or to pre-register, contact Gina Dixon at the Partnership for Children at 735-3371, Ext. 227.
