Offices closed for Friday/Holiday information

Many government offices will be closed for a long Thanksgiving weekend.
All local, state and federal government offices will be closed Thursday.
Although federal offices will be open on Friday, offices of the city of Goldsboro, Wayne County and the state will be closed Friday.
The holiday will also affect transportation schedules and other services, officials said.
The Goldsboro-Wayne Transportation Authority will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the urban bus system will run on a holiday schedule Friday. Buses will run from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Wayne County Solid Waste Director Lloyd Cook said the county landfill will be closed on Thursday and Friday, the same as other county offices.
Waste Industries will be closed on Thursday. If a resident's residential trash collection is normally collected on Thursday, it will be collected on Friday. The Friday collection will remain on the regular schedule.
In the city of Goldsboro, all sanitation services scheduled for Thursday and Friday were to have been performed today.
The Pikeville Town Hall will be closed Thursday but open Friday. Normal Thursday garbage collection will be done on Friday.
Fremont town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Mount Olive town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Duplin County offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
