Accident
Gwendolyn Vann Carr was injured when she lost control of her 2005 Buick while trying to pass a man on a bicycle, hit a ditch and overturned, according to Goldsboro police. The accident happened Monday near George and Crump streets, about 7:45 p.m. Carr, 90, of Vann Street, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment. She was cited for reckless driving. Damage was set at $21,000.
