An additional charge has been levied by Wayne County Sheriff's officers against a man who allegedly stole a set of golf clubs from the southern end of the county. The golf clubs were recovered. Woodrow Mitnaul III, 24, Highland Avenue, now faces charges of larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses. Bond was set at $10,000.

Investigations

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*Three Goldsboro teens were charged in connection with a residential break-in that occurred in the 800 block of Luther Drive about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. An alert and concerned citizen notified the police department about the break-in and C-Shift officers and investigators Dave Cloutier and Dwayne Bevell responded. Sheriff Carey Winders also assisted the GPD with the arrest of one of the suspects involved. Winders caught one of the suspects near the scene of the break-in and Cloutier and Bevell caught the other two suspects.

Among those charged in the alleged crime were: Demarcus Seaberry, 19, of Simmons Street, on charges of breaking and entering, larceny and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Kevin Walters, 18, of E. Holly Street, on charges of breaking and entering, larceny and larceny of a firearm. Quinton L. Swinson, 18, of Simmons Street, breaking and entering, larceny, larceny of a firearm, possession of firearm by a convicted felon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Bond was set at $100,000, $75,000 bond and $150,000 respectively.
