Robert Pliler, also known as Dale Earnhardt Jr., right, and “princess” Alexis Pliler, make chalk drawings at Boo It downtown last night. The event, sponsored by the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp. brought more than 500 children out for a pre-trick-or-treat celebration, officials said. In addition to candy and games, children enjoyed other fun such as chalk drawing and other activities before the city’s official trick-or-treating started. DGDC executive director Julie Thompson called the night “a success.”
