Deadline Wednesday for Mayor's Committee award nominations

Wednesday is deadline to submit nomination forms for the Employer of the Year, Employee of the Year, and the Mayor's Trophy awards, which are given annually by the Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilites.
The awards will given out Nov. 17 at noon at a ceremony at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Officer's Club. Forms are available at City Hall or the county Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Ireve Howell will be the keynote speaker at the event. Cost is $12. For reservations, call Chief Master Sgt. Charles Nail at 722-3670 or email charles.nail@seymourjohnson.af.mil with your name, telephone number and number attending. Checks should be make payable to the Mayor's Committee.
