FAISON -- Halloween trick-or-treaters in Faison are being urged by the Town Board to do their partying on Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m.
The board set those hours as the official trick-or-treating time for the town at its recent meeting.
Parents were urged to keep youngsters in familar neighborhoods and to inspect goodies before their children consume them.
Residents expecting children should switch on their porch lights, board members said.
The town's curfew of 8 p.m. will remain in force and will include children of all ages, board members added.
