Accidents

*David Eugene Quinn, 38, E. Holly Street, was injured during a crash on Daw Pate Road and Stoney Creek Church Road at 7:13 p.m. Oct. 16, when he ran off the road. Quinn was thrown from his motorcycle during the crash. Quinn, who was cited for reckless driving, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment. Damages were estimated at $1,500.

*Naomi McAdams Smith, 58, Woodside Drive, was cited for a safe movement violation after an accident on Wayne Memorial Drive that involved a vehicle driven by Ingrid Hope Pate on Thursday morning. Pate was treated at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Damages were estimated at $9,500.

*Lyndell Williams, 48, Johnson Lane, was cited for failure to yield right of way after an accident involving a vehicle driven by Billy Ray Pope on Slocumb Street. Pope was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment. Damages were estimated at $1,500.

Investigations

*Someone set fire to a stack of tires next to a business at 3150 Stevens Mill Road about 3:30 a.m. Monday. The fire caused an estimated $1,500 damage to a Ford Ranger pickup truck owned by Michael Lee Faircloth.

*A combined drug investigation between the Selective Enforcement Unit, Goldsboro-Wayne County Drug Squad and Housing Division led to the arrest of Travaras Vashawn Jackson and Heather Christa Segraves at their home on South Berkeley Boulevard. Jackson, 29, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell and deliver, possession of ecstasy with intent to sell and deliver. He was being held in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of a $75,000 bond. Segraves, 20, was charged with felonious maintaining a dwelling and was given a $4,000 bond. Eight grams of crack cocaine, four grams of powder cocaine, 13 ecstasy pills, 10 grams of marijuana and $816 were seized during the investigation.
