Crime of the Week
A string of daytime, residential break-ins have been selected by Goldsboro-Wayne County Crime Stoppers and the Goldsboro Police Department as this week's "Crime of the Week."
A number of break-ins have occurred at apartment complexes in the Cashwell Drive area. Police say thieves have stolen more than $5,000 worth of property. Investigators are asking residents to call Crime Stoppers at 735-2255 if they notice anything suspicious. Callers may remain anonymous, and may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000 if information leads to an arrest.
