Fire destroys home

At about 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, Goldsboro firefighters responded to a structure fire on Casey Lane, just off Slocumb Street. A mobile home was destroyed in the blaze. Barbara Oates and her two grandchildren were inside the home but avoided injury.
