Break-in
Siriwat Ratana-Aparoj, 27, of Sixth Avenue, reported her home was broken into and ransacked over the weekend. A door was damaged and among the items taken were a $2,100 flatscreen TV, an $1,800 notebook computer, $1,200 in cash, $1,500 worth of women's jewelry, a $300 digital camera, and a Thailand passport.
Investigations
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*James Cooke, 74, Hillcrest Drive, told police a $500 Smith and Wesson .380 rifle was taken from his residence, as well as a $450 transit level.
*Catherine Rouse, 36, of Wilson, filed a report stating that a 23-year-old woman who babysat for her and took a bank card, which the woman used to pay bills. The suspect reportedly made a transaction out of state and paid a cable bill for $205.
Recovering
Dionco Rolaan Hamilton, 31, of Elm Street, is recovering from gunshot wounds he received late Thursday during an armed robbery near his home. Hamilton told Goldsboro police he was robbed at gunpoint by two masked men dressed in black. Hamilton gave the robbers two cell phones and $45. He said he ran and they shot at him, striking him in his left hip and right thigh. Hamilton was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released, hospital officials said.

*Cowayne Adair Langston, 31, E. Holly Street, resisting a public official, 40 days, credit for time served.
*Reggie Larue McKinnie, 34, Green Valley Drive, urinating in public, resisting a public officer, 10 days suspended.
*Mathew John Turner, 22, Jeannine Drive, 10 days suspended, 12 months probation, $110 court costs.
*Demarlo Tevon Kornegay, 20, E. Kornegay Street, probation violation, 45 days to serve.
*Tomarcus Javon Moore, 27, High Meadow Circle, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, hit and run fail to stop with property damage, six months to serve (appealed).
*Barbara Smith Agbai, 52, Peacock Street, Fremont, driving on a revoked license, permitting operation of vehicle with no insurance, 30 days suspended, 12 months probation, $210 fine and court costs.
*Damon Lee Broussard, 29, N. Church Street, Jennings, La., reckless driving, 30 days suspended, 12 months probation, $210 fine and court costs.
*Taquin Lamon Chambers, 22, Dove Place, no operator's license, 30 days suspended, 12 months probation, $210 fine and court costs.
*Brandon Wyman Hill, 18, A Street, no operator's license, 45 days suspended, 1 year probation, $210 fine, court costs.
