Air Force retirees will be feted Saturday at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base as the base holds its Retiree Appreciation Day at the enlisted club from 8:45 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The 4th Medical Group will hold health screenings and military flight customer service will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. to provide DEERS and identification cards. Pass and ID will open at 7 a.m. for retirees who need to update their base stickers.

Information booths from various organizations, including the legal office, TRICARE, the Veterans Affairs office and the 4th Medical Grou, will be on hand.

Keynote speaker for the event will be Rep. Walter B. Jones. Free coffee and doughnuts, as well as lunch, will be provided. Door prizes donated by downtown agences, as well as goody bags provided by AAFES, will be given out.
