Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:
*Eleazar Cardenas reported someone fired shots into the kitchen window while her mother was sitting in the living room.
Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:
*Someone entered the gym at Greenwood Middle School on Ash Street and tried to pry open the gym office door. Entry was not made to the office. The incident was reported 7:45 a.m. Sept. 11.
