Drug dens raided

Goldsboro/Wayne County Drug Squad agents raided two suspected drug dens that led to the arrests of two men.
Darrell K. Foye, 48, of South Best Street, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Foye also was charged with maintaining a dwelling for keeping and selling marijuana. Foye was placed under $50,000 bond.
Jerry Lee Holmes, 61, of Holly Street, was charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell and deliver. Holmes also was placed under $50,000 bond.
Goldsboro Police Chief Tim Bell indicated the two suspected drug dens had become a major threat to residents' safety and security. Tips to the Crime Stoppers hotline aided in the investigation that led to the arrests, officials said.
