Investigations

Wayne County sheriff's deputies are investigating these reports:

*Nadine Outlaw Williams said a former tenant stole a washer and dryer set valued at $770 from the apartment. The unit is located at 846 Sandhill Drive, Dudley.

*Bryan L. Taylor reported Tuesday that someone broke into the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints on Eagles Nest Road. The suspect damaged the door upon entry and stole a white freezer and an industrial-style fan. Total estimated damage was $1,140.

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*Angela Newell of Pendergraph Management Co. in Raleigh, reported someone damaged the sprinkler heads and electrical wiring for the unit. Total estimated damage was $400.

*Someone broke into an air conditioning unit at 110 E. Oak St., and attempted to steal the copper at 12:17 a.m. Wednesday. Total estimated damage was $5,000.

*Officials with Tyndall Rental Agency reported that someone wrote graffiti on a bedroom wall and damaged the floor, windows, central air conditioning unit and bathroom plumbing. The vacant apartment is located at 709 N. Virginia St. Total estimated damage was $5,300.
