Farm committee nominations sought

Wayne County farmers are being encouraged to nominate candidates to serve on the Farm Service Agency county committee. Nominations will be accepted through Aug. 1. Forms are available at the FSA office at 209 W. Spruce St. Eligible candidates must participate or cooperate in an FSA program, be of voting age, and live in the county or area of the election. This year's election will be held for the Fork, Buck Swamp, Great Swamp, Nahunta and Pikeville areas.
