Investigations

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*A television, a video cassette recorder, a fan, a clock, detergent and about $350 were stolen between Saturday and Tuesday from a home in the 400 block of North John Street, Goldsboro police said. The thief had damaged a door lock to get inside, the report said. The resident, M.L. Howard, estimated the value of the stolen property at $398, in addition to the cash, and damage at $10.

*An estimated $3,700 in damages was inflicted between June 10 and Tuesday on a rental home in the 600 block of Whitfield Drive, police said. The owner, Bill Best, reported damage to the carpet, sheet rock, two doors and the walls.

*Gold rings and necklaces and two DVD players were stolen Tuesday after a door glass was broken at a mobile home in the 3200 block of Central Heights Road, police said. The resident, Ardre R. Hudson, estimated the stolen property's value at $620 and damage at $30.

*A white, four-door 2003 Ford Focus was stolen between June 16 and Tuesday from the 500 block of Bolling Drive, police said. The car, owned by Sarah L. Granados, who was deployed from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, was valued at $5,000.
