Stolen property
*Sasser Home Builders reported property stolen from a construction site in Pikeville. An employee showed up to install appliances at a site, a noticed they were missing. Among the items allegedly stolen were a $350 range oven, a $250 microwave oven and a $250 dishwasher.
*Martha Atkins, of Dudley, reported her handgun stolen this weekend. She said the semi-automatic 40 caliber firearm was taken from her bedroom closet. The gun, she added, was valued at more than $750.
*Pamla Evans, of US-70 West, reported a breaking and entering at her residence. More than $600 in property was stolen, she said, including a video game system, games, DVDs and other home entertainment items.
*Ralph Stanley, of Thunder Swamp Road, Mount Olive, reported property stolen from his backyard this weekend. The items, a boat and boat motor were valued at close to $500.
