OK. The News-Argus got it wrong. Twice.
But don't let the confusion stop you from doing the right thing and disposing of that old computer or VCR in an environmentally friendly way.
Keep Wayne County Beautiful's annual electronic recycling day, held in the parking lot of Sam's Club is the best way to get rid of your used TVs, monitors, keyboards, cell phones and other electronic gear that is no longer of any use.
Previous stories gave the wrong dates for the event but we've got it straight now. The recycling event will be Saturday, May 13, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Accepted items will include PCs, printers, keyboards, scanners, mouses, monitors, circuit boards, hard drives, telephones, cell phones, answering machines, pagers, typewriters, cameras, TVs, VCRs and camcorders.
Inkjet and laser cartridges from printers should be removed and both brought in for recycling.
No appliances will be accepted.
