Holiday trash collection schedules announced

The city of Goldsboro and Wayne County offices will be closed Friday in observance of Good Friday.
City trash collection normally scheduled for Friday will take place on Wednesday, city officials said.
In the county, Waste Industries will collect trash on its regular schedule Monday through Thursday, with Friday's trash also collected on Thursday. Customers are asked to place their container at the curbside the night before collection. Waste Industries will be closed on Good Friday.
State offices will be closed Friday. All federal offices will be open Friday and Monday, including the Postal Service.
