Healthy Kids Day at Family Y on Saturday

Goldsboro Family YMCA is expecting hundreds of children and their families to celebrate Healthy Kids Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Activities include free snacks and drinks, six land and water inflatables, professional wrestling, free shaved ice, clowns, magicians, child identification kits and a music festival at the Lords Table nearby.
Senior program director Hal Warner said the Family Y staff is committed to helping alleviate the problem of overweight young people in Goldsboro and Wayne County, and that increasing regular physical activity is crucial.
