Ayinde Hurrey, left, sings along with Christopher Fennel during a workshop on African dance and drumming held by Hurrey at School Street School on Thursday. He taught students about the languages of West Africa and allowed them to play drums from that region. Hurrey, originally from Goldsboro, now lives in Florida. His presentation was one of several being held at the school in honor of Multi-Culture Month.
