MOC Harrison lecture is Tuesday

MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive College will hold the 16th Annual Vivian B. Harrison Memorial Lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 21, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Rodgers Chapel. The guest speaker will be Dr. Sandra Hack Polaski, associate professor of New Testament at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond. The theme for this year's event is "Corinthian Confusion - Then and Now."
Dr. Polaski holds a Ph.D. from Duke University. She is the author of two books, including the recently published "A Feminist Introduction to Paul."
The lecture series was established by the Rev. Frank Harrison in memory of his wife. The purpose of the lecture is to provide a medium for continuing education for ministers and laymen.
