Free programs planned at Cliffs of the Neuse this weekend

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Cliffs of the Neuse State Park will offer two free programs this weekend.
"Animals of Cliffs of the Neuse" will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. at the museum. A park ranger will talk about animal habitats and adaptations.
On Sunday at 2 p.m. at the museum, a park ranger will discuss what makes a river become dirty and how pollution can be prevented in "Who Polluted the Neuse?"
Area residents who would like to attend one or both programs can call the state park office at 778-6234 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to reserve a space.
