Chairmen picked for Mount Olive College School of Business Advisory Board

Two area men have been named officers of the newly formed Mount Olive College School of Business Advisory Board. Dr. Gregory M. Bounds, chief executive officer of Goshen Medical Center, was elected chairman, and Samuel Ernest Taylor Jr., owner of Taylor Trucking LLC and Sea Gobbler Farms, was elected vice chair.
The board was formed in the fall of 2005 by the college's School of Business. The 15-member board was charged with the task of providing guidance in the areas of public visibility, relevance of curriculum to modern business, identification of students, placement of graduates and overall support of the School of Business.
In addition to serving on the advisory board, Dr. Bounds serves as chairman of the Board of Directors of Community Benevolent Foundation Inc., secretary and member of Community Partners Healthnet Board, member of the North Carolina Community Health Center Association Board, member of the National Health Care for Homeless Council Board and member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
A graduate and former employee of Mount Olive College, Taylor has a long-standing relationship with the college. In addition to his service on the School of Business Advisory Board, he also serves on the College's Alumni Board and on the Board of the Mount Olive Chamber of Commerce. He is president of Friends of the Park and chairman of the Mount Olive Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.

"I have every confidence that Greg and Ernie will provide the leadership needed to move us forward in promoting and supporting the School of Business at Mount Olive College."
