Rescuers who found this car overturned about 12:20 a.m. today on Dobbersville Road heard tapping coming from inside and found the driver pinned beneath the vehicle in a ditch containing a foot of water. Firefighters from Jordans Chapel and Grantham broke out the rear window and helped him escape. Alexander Ray Garner of Camp Jubilee Road in Seven Springs was charged with speeding by the Highway Patrol, said Trooper R.T. Edwards. Damage to the 2000 Mercury was estimated at $7,000. The car is owned by Timothy Jernigan Garner of Smith Chapel Road, Mount Olive.
