Seven volunteer fire departments responded to this house fire on Tram Road near Mount Olive this morning about 7. Pleasant Grove, Albertson, Oak Wolfe, Sarecta, Kenansville, Pricetown and Pink Hill units and Duplin County rescue and law enforcement officers were at the scene. The home, owned by Dwight and Jennifer King, was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Neighbors said the King family was on vacation. An estimate of damages was not available at press time.
