Robbery

An unknown subject robbed a 50-year-old Goldsboro man at gunpoint as he was walking from his car to his house 11 p.m. Friday. Xi Fang said a black male in his 20s wearing a black jacket and gray pants used a handgun to steal Fang's cell phone. After the robbery in the 1700 block of Rose Street, the unknown suspect traveled north by vehicle. According to the police report, the suspect is a 6-foot tall, 185-pound male with a medium build. Fang said he could not determine the suspect's hair, hair style or vehicle.

Stolen vehicle

A black 1995 GMC Suburban was stolen between midnight and 6:30 a.m. Friday from the 700 block of Franklin Street as the vehicle was warming up, according to the Goldsboro police report. The owner, Hector Domingues of Dudley, put the car's value at $8,000.

Investigations

Wayne County law enforcement officers are investigating these reports:

*More $2,800 in jewelry and firearms were stolen from a residence at the 300 block of Old Grantham Road Monday afternoon, owner Ray Custer, 42, of Goldsboro, said. The guns included two .22 caliber revolvers, a .357 caliber Magnum, a .32 caliber pistol and a rifle. The suspect or suspects, according to the police report, entered through the front door, removed the items and left in an unknown direction.

*Wachovia Bank informed Janie Hall, 56, of Dudley, that an unknown suspect used her bank card for $1,300 in goods and services at a Wal-Mart in Melborn, Florida, according to the report. Hall informed the sheriff's office at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

*At 6:30 p.m. Friday, Richard Woodard, 64, of Country Day Road in Goldsboro placed a black box and black bag containing cash and checks on the bumper of his truck, according to the report. Woodard said he drove home without securing the items and did not realize his mistake. When he returned to Aycock Drive in Goldsboro, the bags were missing. There was $933.35 in cash in the black bag and $2,000 in cash in a black metal cash box, he said. Eight hundred dollars in checks for deposit were included with the cash.

*An unknown suspect broke a bedroom window at the 700 block of Slaughter Street and stole a 27-inch color TV, according to the Goldsboro police report. David Harry, 65, of Fort Washington, Md., owns the property and was informed by Goldsboro police after an officer noticed the damage at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

*After obtaining Brittany Anderson's bank account number, an unknown suspect made $250 worth of Internet purchases through her account. Anderson, 19, of Peachtree Street, said the suspect used the information to purchase goods and services, according to the Goldsboro police report.
