O'Berry Center will have its own version of a holiday parade on Saturday, featuring the Goldwings motorcycle club starting at 11 a.m. Several hundred motorcyclists from the eastern part of the state plan to attend the annual event, bringing presents and donations.

A party for staff and residents follows, but the parade is open to the public.

The community is also invited to two other events at the center over the coming week. On Wednesday, a bonfire will be held behind the gymnasium, starting at 6:30 p.m. There will also be entertainment and hot chocolate provided.

On Saturday, Dec. 10, several church and community groups will be providing musical entertainment from 6:30-8:30 p.m., followed by a fireworks display. The center has purchased extra Christmas decorations, said Dr. Frank Farrell, director, and the public is invited to visit its Knights of Columbus Park and enjoy them.
