Flu shots available at Health Department

People needing a flu vaccine are encouraged to go to the Health Department weekdays from 8 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and from 1-4 p.m. Charge is $20 for the flu vaccine and $30 for pneumonia.
Wayne County Health Director James Roosen said about 500 people visited the clinic on Monday for the vaccine, but demand has tapered off. As a result, he said, there should be a shorter waiting time for anyone coming out to get the vaccine.
