Man dies in truck crash on N.C. 55

MOUNT OLIVE -- A man was killed before dawn Sunday in a one-vehicle wreck on N.C. 55 near Stanley Chapel Church Road, N.C. Highway Patrol officials said today.
The victim was identified as Fernando Rodriquez of Mount Olive.
A patrol spokeswoman in Raleigh said Rodriquez was going west at about 3:58 a.m., when the truck ran off the right side, struck a ditch and overturned, about 3.7 miles east of Mount Olive.
The traffic death was the 15th this year on Wayne County roads.
A complete report had not been completed by the investigating trooper at mid-morning today.
