City council, county commissioners meet

The Goldsboro City Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at City Hall following a work session at 5 p.m.
At its meeting, the council will hold a public hearing on the proposed annexation of 13 acres on the east side of Cox Boulevard retreat and architect interviews for the three-phase City Hall renovation.
On Tuesday, the Wayne County Board of Commissioners will hold a work session 8:30 a.m. at the Goldsboro Country Club. The commissioners will hear a report from the Goldsboro-Wayne Airport Authority and they will discuss electronic surveillance at the Day Reporting Center.
