The Salvation Army will have Christmas stockings ready for pickup Tuesday.
The agency is asking community members, civic groups, churches and businesses to fill as many stockings as they can to be distributed to needy children. The stockings are 24-inch red mesh.
The stockings may be picked up at the Salvation Army at 610 N. William St. They must be returned by Dec. 7.
Last year the Salvation Army gave out more than 1,500 stockings to local needy children.
