Applications available for Head Start classes

Applications will be taken for WAGES Head Start and Early Head Start Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Royall Avenue Center, 601 E. Royall Ave.; the Carver Center, 612 S. Breazeale Ave., Mount Olive; and the Pikeville Center, Smith Street.
Those applying for the programs must take their child's birth certificate, Social Security cards for both the parents and child, income verification (W-2 forms and most current check stub), child's immunization records, child's most current physical signed by a physician, child's current Medicaid card or private insurance information, parent's Medicaid card or private insurance information if child is under 3, verification of child's special needs and food stamp verification letter and identification number.
